And there’s not too many films that had a song written written and recorded by no less than Paul Simon, on his 1973 album There Goes Rhymin’ Simon. See the wiki link here. It went to number 9 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, just 5 weeks after its release on 19 May 1973.

A sad end for a great film that many of us will remember with fondness. I think the first slides I ever took were on Kodachrome. Many of us will remember i the eagerness with which we tore into the yellow envelope and plastic box of slides, eager to see the results of our labours. How different it all is today with the instant gratification of digital.
